Canyon Lake is a community on the move and there are several resources that bring people together. One organization is the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce. The organization has both business and associate memberships for non-business members. It sponsors many community wide events including an annual barbeque cook off, monthly after-hours mixers and parades.

Another significant organization is the Community Resource & Recreation Center (CRRC). The CRRC has several locations and each has a unique function in providing services to the Canyon Lake community. Several youth sports activities and senior activities are sponsored by CRRC. The CRRC also sponsors the North Pole Village in December and the Canyon Lake Market Days.
